Netflix Canada is teasing a Stranger Things experience is making its way to Toronto. As part of a global marketing event hitting various cities around the world, something is making its way to the city soon.
“CODE RED CANADA!” the official Netflix Canada account posted on X (formerly Twitter). “Pack your walkie talkies because Hawkins is taking over Toronto for one last adventure,” the post continues to read. “Stay tuned.”
Attached to the post is a short 1-minute-long video claiming “This is a code red.” The video then lists a series of cities, including Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, London, Lucca, Berlin, Paris, Istanbul, Tokyo, and São Paulo. As the video concludes, Netflix urges fans to “get ready for one last adventure.”
Unfortunately, there isn’t any more to go on. Though it’s clear that the company is teeing up some sort of marketing beat as the fifth and final season of Stranger Things is making its way to the streaming service soon.
Volume 1 of the fifth season of Stranger Things kicks off with its first four episodes on Wednesday, November 26th. Thus, it’s likely we’ll hear more about the experience well before the new season begins. The season then continues with Volume 2 and three more episodes, hitting the service on Christmas Day. The season then concludes with its ‘Grand Finale’ on December 31st, as viewers prepare to ring in 2026.
