Control: Ultimate Edition Coming to iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro in Early 2026

Developer Remedy Entertainment has announced that Control: Ultimate Edition is making its way to iPhone, iPad, and Apple’s Vision Pro early next year.

On X (formerly Twitter), Remedy reveals that “Apple takes CONTROL!” The company’s post confirms that the critically acclaimed action-adventure game will arrive across Apple’s devices. The port of Remedy’s 2019 game on iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro arrives after the company released the game on macOS earlier this year in February.

“You will soon be able to enter the Oldest House on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro alongside Mac,” the company wrote. Remedy also confirms that the game will support a traditional controller like a DualSense as well as touch controls. It’s assumed that hand tracking and gestures will be included on Vision Pro as well.

Control was originally released in 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In the game, players step into the role of Jesse Faden, the new director of the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC), who searches the Oldest House for her kidnapped brother. Within the Oldest House is a US agency that specializes in researching paranormal entities. As Jesse further explores the Oldest House, she comes across the Hiss, deadly enemies that get in her way.

In 2020, Control: Ultimate Edition launched across all aforementioned platforms. This version includes the base titles as well as the Foundation and AWE (Altered World Events) expansions. Both expansions expand and continue to main story beats of the original game. However, the AWE expansion also acts as a crossover between Control and Alan Wake, ahead of the release of Alan Wake 2.

With Control: Ultimate Edition coming to iPhone, iPad and Vision Pro, even more players can experience the game. Remedy Entertainment is actively developing Control 2, with an undisclosed release date in mind.

Control: Ultimate Edition is currently available on macOS for $59.99. It’s likely that it’ll retain that price when it arrives on other Apple devices next year.
