Play ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ Free This Week: Here’s How

Gamers can dive into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 for free this week. From October 9 to October 16, Activision is offering full access to the game’s Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies modes. Physical copies of the game normally costs $90 to 103 for PS5 and Xbox for example.
Players can experience the cinematic single-player story, then jump online with over 40 Multiplayer maps, including new ones called Gravity, Mothball, and Rig. The trial also opens up all six Round-Based Zombies maps and modes for fans who want to team up and fight off the undead.
If you don’t want to download the full game, you can also stream and play it through GeForce Now during the free trial period. The free week is part of the game’s Season 06: The Haunting event, giving players a chance to try everything before deciding whether to buy.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, underwent the longest development cycle in the franchise’s history at four (long) years, beginning around 2020 and focusing on a spy thriller set in the early 1990s.
The game was officially announced in May 2024, generating significant buzz with its reveal trailer and marketing campaign. It launched on October 25, 2024, across multiple platforms including Xbox Game Pass from day one, achieving the biggest launch in Call of Duty history with record-breaking player engagement.
If you’ve been waiting to play COD BO6, this is your chance to try it free if you’ve been missing out all this time. Of course, Black Ops 7 is set to release on November 14, so this free trial is likely to get you hooked before the new release.
