Battlefield 6 and Ghost of Yōtei Top PlayStation’s Charts in October

PlayStation has released the top-performing digital games downloaded from the PlayStation Store in October. Across Canada, the US and the EU, Battlefield 6 and Ghost of Yōtei both performed well, ranking in the first and second spot, respectively.

Each month, PlayStation tabulates the best-performing PS5, PS4, PS VR2, and free-to-play games on the download charts. While there are often some discrepancies across the Canada/US charts and those of the EU, many of the same titles fell into the Top 20 slots.

Here are the 20 most downloaded PS5 games from the PlayStation Store in Canada and the US:

  1. Battlefield 6
  2. Ghost of Yōtei
  3. NBA 2K26
  4. EA Sports FC 26
  5. ARC Raiders
  6. Dispatch
  7. EA SPORTS Madden NFL 26
  8. Digimon Story Time Stranger
  9. Little Nightmares III
  10. Grand Theft Auto V
  11. NASCAR 25
  12. Minecraft
  13. Jurassic World Evolution 3
  14. Borderlands 4
  15. The Outer Worlds 2
  16. Dying Light: The Beast
  17. Ninja Gaiden 4
  18. EA SPORTS College Football 26
  19. UFC 5
  20. NHL 26

What’s important to note is the rise and fall of certain games. For instance, in SeptemberNBA 2K26 topped the charts. Borderlands 4 fell from the second-place spot to 14th in October.

Some other interesting stats include Max Mustard, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, Beat Saber, Before Your Eyes, and Metro Awakening ranking as the top 5 PS VR2 titles downloaded last month.

Finally, here are the most downloaded free-to-play games in Canada/the US in October:

  3. Wizard101
  4. Roblox
  5. Call of Duty: Warzone
  6. Marvel Rivals
  7. skate.
