Apple Stores Are Turning Into Sneaky Sasquatch Playgrounds

Apple is adding a holiday twist to its Apple Arcade lineup by bringing the popular game Sneaky Sasquatch to Apple Stores around the world.
The game, which has been one of the most-played Arcade titles since 2019, is getting another major update on December 16 called Harvest to Harbor, adding mushroom farming and a new crop market where players can watch prices and sell for profit.
For the holidays, some Apple Stores will host sessions where families can draw characters from the game, try out the new update, or join themed activities on the big screens. At Apple The Grove in Los Angeles, a larger pop-up experience will run on December 12 and 13, complete with photo spots, hidden-item challenges, and themed treats.
These sessions are also available at Apple Stores in Canada, according to our checks of the website. No word about the photo spots, though, so let us know if you spot them. The session is called, “Kids: Draw with Sneaky Sasquatch”.
The description is as follows:
Families, join us for a drawing adventure as we bring the world of Sneaky Sasquatch on Apple Arcade to life on iPad. Sasquatch is on a mission and needs your help creating fun holiday parties. You’ll use drawing tools to add decorations and customize Sasquatch’s disguise with stickers, all while learning new skills. Devices provided. Not available in Quebec.
For sessions with amplified sound, hearing loop technology is available upon request.
Apple Arcade is also adding more games in January. Four titles arrive on January 8: Cozy Caravan, Sago Mini Jinja’s Garden, True Skate+, and Potion Punch 2+. Cozy Caravan is a laid-back crafting and trading game set in a peaceful world, while Sago Mini Jinja’s Garden introduces a new 3D open-world adventure for younger players. True Skate+ brings a full skateboarding simulator to the service, and Potion Punch 2+ is a colorful time-management game.
These additions follow several new releases in December, including SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2, PowerWash Simulator, Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition, Subway Surfers+, and a new Naruto title.
Apple Arcade costs $8.99 per month in Canada, with a free trial for new subscribers. The service is included in Apple One bundles and works across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, depending on the game. Are you using Apple Arcade? What games are you playing?
