Here’s What’s New in iOS 26.3 Beta 1 [VIDEO]
Apple has just released iOS 26.3 beta 1 to developers, kicking off the next testing cycle for iPhone and iPad software updates. The latest beta release brings a handful of new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes.
While this update is not packed with dramatic surface level changes, it brings several important tweaks that build on what Apple introduced with iOS 26 and the recent iOS 26.2 update. One of the standout additions spotted in the 26.3 beta is a new Transfer to Android option in the iPhone’s Settings app. This setting is designed to make switching from an iPhone to an Android device easier.
Another notable change is notification forwarding for third party wearables. With this new capability, iPhone users can choose to send notifications to smartwatches or devices that are not from Apple. This change helps Apple meet broader compatibility expectations, especially in regions where regulations encourage interoperability across different platforms.
There are also updates to the lock screen customization options, including a refined Weather wallpaper section that separates weather wallpapers into their own category rather than combining them with astronomy themes. This makes weather visuals easier to find and personalize.
The update also includes improvements to some Apple apps. The Music app may offer better personalized recommendations via the “Get Up” suggestions on the homepage, aiming to tailor music discovery more closely to individual tastes.
Lastly, Apple Fitness Plus is said to be expanding to more countries and now supports additional languages including Spanish, German, and Japanese. This broadens Fitness Plus’s reach and accessibility for users outside the United States.
