Koodo Boxing Day Surprise: $40 Canada-US-Mexico Plan is Back
Telus-owned Koodo has brought back its Canada-US-Mexico plan for Boxing Day, reviving an offer that originally launched during Black Friday. The plan marks Koodo’s first Canada-US-Mexico option and is once again available as part of Boxing Week.
The $40 per month plan now includes 60GB of data, up from the original 50GB, along with Canada-US-Mexico roaming for talk, text, and data. The $40 price applies after setting up automatic payments.
Before this, Canada-US-Mexico plans were typically limited to Telus’ prepaid brand, Public Mobile. Koodo’s return to offering cross-border roaming across all three countries continues that expansion for postpaid customers.
Here are Koodo’s plans as of writing:
- $40/60GB Canada-US-Mexico
- $40/50GB
- $45/70GB
- $75/100GB
- $30 talk/text
Here’s are Fido’s plans for comparison:
- $40/50GB
- $45/70GB
- $45/20GB
Here are Virgin Plus plans:
- $40/50GB
- $45/60GB
- $30 talk/text
As with Black Friday, it’s unlikely Fido and and Virgin Plus will play ball and match this plan from Koodo.
Boxing Week offers are ongoing and right now a popular plan with Rogers, Telus and Bell include a $35/100GB Canada-US plan available from Best Buy and Costco, with $100 bonus gift cards upon activation.
