Public Mobile Rolls Out New 100GB Plan After Boxing Week Deals End
Telus-owned Public Mobile has refreshed its mobile plans now that Boxing Week promotions are officially over. The carrier’s Boxing Week offers were originally set to expire on January 5, then quietly extended to January 11.
With those deals now gone, Public Mobile has updated its lineup, including the launch of a new 100GB plan and reduced data on several Canada US Mexico options.
Here’s how Public Mobile’s current plans now stack up (4G plans have remained the same throughout):
- $20 for 1GB on 4G Canada-wide
- $25 for 4GB on 4G Canada-wide
- $30 for 8GB on 5G Canada-wide
- $35 for 10GB on 5G Canada US Mexico, down from 20GB, with 250 long-distance minutes removed
- $40 for 60GB on 5G Canada US Mexico, down from 100GB, with 500 long-distance minutes removed
- $50 for 80GB on 5G Canada US Mexico, down from 150GB, with 1,000 long-distance minutes removed
- $60 for 100GB on 5G Canada US Mexico (NEW)
The changes mark a noticeable pullback from Boxing Week, when higher data buckets and long-distance minutes were included at the same price points.
Again, the next time for wireless “deals” might be when Lunar New Year debuts in early February, so stay tuned as carriers will likely toss out themed offers like they did last year.
