XP Game Summit Returns to Toronto May 21-22

XP Game Summit has announced that it’s returning in 2026, only this time it’s being held in May. The two-day industry event is planning to open its doors, inviting developers, publishers, marketers and investors within the gaming industry to come together in Toronto on May 21 and 22.

XP Game Summit is an annual B2B conference for professionals within the gaming industry. Each year, members of the industry gather from across Canada as well as global markets to attend expert sessions, showcase their latest indie projects and network with one another.

Traditionally, XP Game Summit is held in June. Last year, the event was held as part of Toronto Games Week and Toronto’s Video Game Month celebration, which brought over 40,000 attendees to the city in June. However, it appears as though the planned FIFA World Cup matches, starting on June 12, may have disrupted those plans this year. Instead, the 5th anniversary of XP Game Summit will take place earlier this year.

We’re still awaiting a full rundown of guests, panels and confirmation on participating publishers for the 2026 installment of the show.

Registration is now open for the event. Tickets start at $449 for regular access to the conference, over 50 expert-led sessions and the XP Indie Pitch event. The VIP package, priced at $699, is available and includes a catered lunch and VIP lounge access. Students can purchase tickets for $150 as well. More information can be found on the official website.
