Here’s the First Look at For All Mankind Season 5

Apple TV has released the first trailer for the long-anticipated fifth season of For All MankindFollowing a two-year wait, the alternate history of the space race continues.

Season 5 of For All Mankind continues soon after the conclusion of the previous season. Set in the 2010s, the upcoming season “picks up in the years since the Goldilocks asteroid heist.” In Season 4, we see a group of astronauts on Mars collect an asteroid filled with materials to continue their space exploration journey.

Here is an excerpt from the press release: “Happy Valley has grown into a thriving colony with thousands of residents and a base for new missions that will take us even further into the solar system. But with the nations of Earth now demanding law and order on the Red Planet, friction continues to build between the people who live on Mars and their former home.”

For All Mankind has been a critical success for Apple TV over the many years. The series was created by esteemed screenwriter and producer Ronald D. Moore, alongside Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi. The series is built on the idea of ‘What if the Soviet Union had beaten the US to the Moon and the space race had never ended?’ It thus created an alternate history tale, spanning decades within this universe.

The fifth season of For All Mankind begins on Friday, March 27th. A new episode is then slated to premiere each Friday over the course of the 10-episode season, concluding on May 29th.

In Canada, Apple TV is available for $14.99 per month.
