Alright it looks like a $25/25GB wireless plan is the go-to right now for Lunar New Year, along with 8GB data bonuses (8 is a lucky number for some Asian cultures).
Koodo is offering a $25/25GB prepaid plan but now Rogers-owned Chatr and Bell’s Lucky Mobile are also offering the same.

Lucky Mobile hasn’t mentioned any end date, but Chatr is saying February 23.
So what about Public Mobile right now? Here are their plans for comparison:
While Public Mobile’s 4G plans aren’t as good as rivals, its 5G pricing for the $35 plan includes US and Mexico roaming, which Chatr and Lucky Mobile don’t offer at all.
