Level Up Showcase 2026 to be Hosted on April 7th in Toronto

Level Up Showcase returns in Toronto next month. On April 7th, the event invites attendees to see more than 150 student-developed games and participate in hands-on activities.

Level Up Showcase 2026 is taking place at the Sheraton Centre, running from 4 PM to 10 PM. The event is organized and co-hosted by several post-secondary institutions, including the University of Toronto, Brock University, and the Digital Futures Program at OCAD University, in partnership with XP Gaming. Students from over 250 colleges and universities will showcase their games to all attendees.

Participating students have the opportunity to meet other like-minded developers, see their projects and connect with industry professionals, recruiters and the public. The event also offers students the opportunity to receive industry feedback on their project.

During the Level Up Showcase, attendees can play all available games on the showroom floor. As in previous years, attendees can cast their vote for the best games shown. At 9 PM, the awards ceremony begins, presenting the winners with their accolades for their achievements.

This year, Level Up Showcase has a roster of sponsors, including Ubisoft Toronto, 2K Games, AMD, Blue Ocean Games, Sledgehammer Games, Behaviour Interactive, Epic Games, Puzzle Cats, and Uken Games. Zynga also joins as the Title Sponsor, “underscoring the company’s commitment to supporting emerging talent and investing in the future of game development in Ontario,” Level Up Showcase says in a press release.

Level Up Showcase 2026 is free to attend. For those interested in taking a peek at many extraordinary game creations made by students, you can register to attend on the official website. Here, you can also find a full list of games that were shown during Level Up Showcase 2025.
