Fido and Virgin Plus Drop $27/80GB Canada-US-Mexico Plan in Flash Sale

Looks like Fido and Virgin Plus have ramped up their flash sale to now bring back the $27/80GB Canada-US-Mexico plan which includes talk, text and data across North America.

On Friday, Fido, Virgin Plus and Koodo all trimmed their plans magically down to just two offerings, $35/80GB and $55/100GB plans with Canada-US-Mexico. Now, Fido and Virgin Plus have reduced the $35 plan down to $27, a promo carriers offered over a week ago.

As of writing, Koodo appears to have missed the memo but we expect they will match its rivals later today.

Fido

  • $27/80GB (was $35) Canada-US-Mexico
  • $55/100GB

It’s worth pointing out the Fido offerings do not include personal hotspot, which is a paid add-on, despite everyone else offering it for free.

Virgin Plus

  • $27/80GB (was $35) Canada-US-Mexico
  • $55/100GB

Koodo

  • $35/80GB Canada-US-Mexico
  • $55/100GB

These promo plans are all set to end on March 31, 2026.

In the meantime, Public Mobile has a 50% off plans for 24 months, which ends today, with its 80GB Canada-US-Mexico plan at only $25 per month.

That’s supposed to happen. When the actual bill is generated the fee will be removed.
