Koodo Undercuts Rivals With $25/80GB Canada-US-Mexico Flash Sale
Earlier today Fido and Virgin Plus magically launched $27/80GB Canada-US-Mexico plans at the same time as part of ongoing promos. At the time, we said Koodo missed the memo but now it appears the Telus flanker brand is fully awake.
Koodo has now launched a $25/80GB Canada-US-Mexico plan, which beats its rivals by just $2. This is being achieved as the $35/80GB plan now comes with $10 in bill credits, as noted by changes on the Koodo website. That price is after setting up autopay and a recurring $10 bill credit for 24 months.
“Flash Sale! Get our 80 GB Canada-US-Mexico plan from just $25/month,” touts Koodo. One of the free included perks is a 3-day Easy Roam US or International. So after 24 months, the price will go back up to $35 per month.
You could always jump on Koodo sister company Public Mobile, which has a $25/80GB Canada-US-Mexico plan right now too, but again only for 24 months.
Koodo’s promo plans will end on March 31, 2026, just like Fido and Virgin Plus. What carrier are you going with?

I switched to Chatr last week for their 25gb $25 plan from Public Mobile and then got a Winback call offering this same Koodo Plan but with a 5 year price lock and a $75 credit. We’ll see if they honour all the terms.
All these companies fully intend on raising their price and have no price guarantee. Freedom mobile does, so I’m sticking with them.
I detest auto-pay bill credits, especially when they have an expiry date attached to them.
Does the plan have a 24 month contract price guarantee or can Koodo Virgin or Fido suddenly increase the base plan price from $5 to $10 anytime they like?
These are 2 reasons I went to Fizz almost 3 years ago and have never looked back
I live in Mexico half the year will the plan only work out of Canada for a week or so at a time before having to be back in the country?
