Google Pixel 11 Pro XL Renders Show Sleek Bezels

Alleged CAD-based renders for the upcoming Google Pixel 11 Pro XL have just surfaced online, giving us an early look at what the search giant has planned for its top-tier smartphone this summer (via Android Headlines).

The leaked renders show that the Pixel 11 Pro XL will retain its massive presence, featuring a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display. While the overall footprint remains nearly identical to last year’s model, measuring approximately 162.7 x 76.5 x 8.5mm, here are subtle aesthetic tweaks.

The most notable change is the signature camera bar. While it still spans the width of the rear panel, the renders suggest a move toward a fully blacked-out glass module, replacing the body-coloured metallic accents around the flash seen on the Pixel 10 series. Additionally, the bezels surrounding the screen appear significantly thinner, measuring a reported 1.1mm, which helps the device compete with the ultra-slim look of the latest iPhone and Galaxy models.

The real story lies in the internal hardware. The Pixel 11 Pro XL is expected to debut the Tensor G6 chipset. This year is particularly significant because the chip is rumoured to be manufactured on TSMC’s advanced 2nm process. This move away from older manufacturing nodes should provide a massive leap in thermal management and battery efficiency.

In another major technical shift, rumours suggest Google is finally ditching Samsung-branded modems in favour of a MediaTek M90 chip. For users who have experienced signal drops or excessive battery drain on 5G in previous years, this modem swap could be the most important upgrade in the entire 2026 lineup.

While the primary 50MP sensor remains the cornerstone of the triple-camera array, the telephoto lens is tipped for a boost. Leaks point to an upgraded 64MP periscope sensor, providing sharper hybrid zoom and better long-distance performance.

On the front, Google is reportedly working on “Project Tuscana,” a more secure facial authentication system. By using infrared sensors and depth mapping, Google aims to bring back a secure form of face unlock that can be used for banking and sensitive apps.

Following the established pattern of the last two years, the Pixel 11 Pro XL is expected to be officially announced at a Google event in early August 2026.
