Apple Drops macOS 26.4.1 Download to Fix M5 MacBook Wi-Fi Issues
After releasing iOS and iPadOS 26.4.1 yesterday, Apple has released macOS 26.4.1 on Thursday.
According to the release notes, they are the same as before, noting, “This update introduces 8 new emoji, along with other features, bug fixes, and security updates for your Mac.”
The update is coming in at 9GB for the MacBook Air and Apple says once downloaded, the update will take roughly 20 minutes to install.
So what’s new in macOS 26.4.1? The update has “Resolved an issue where MacBook Air with M5 and MacBook Pro with M5 Pro or M5 Max failed to join 802.1X Wi-Fi networks while using content filter extensions.”
