New Ecovacs Deebot X12 OmniCyclone Launches in Canada

Ecovacs has officially launched its latest flagship robot vacuum and mop, the Deebot X12 OmniCyclone, bringing a new level of automated cleaning to Canadian homes. The unit is now available for $1,999.99 CAD through Amazon.ca and the official Ecovacs Canadian website.

One of the top features of the new model is what the company calls its FocusJet technology. Unlike standard robot mops that simply wipe surfaces, the X12 uses infrared sensors and cameras to spot dried-on stains like coffee or mud. Once a mess is detected, the robot sprays targeted water jets to soften the grime before a high-density roller mop scrubs the floor.

To keep the device efficient, Ecovacs included a pressurized spray system that constantly rinses the 27 cm roller mop with fresh water during the cleaning cycle. This ensures the robot isn’t just spreading dirty water across the floor. For homes with mixed flooring, the X12 features a smart cover and an automatic lifting system to keep carpets dry when the robot transitions away from hard surfaces.

Maintenance is handled by the included Omni Station. This dock automatically washes and dries the mop, empties the dustbin, and manages cleaning solution levels. Notably, the station uses a bagless system to suction out debris, which means no more buying replacement bags.

For pet owners, the X12 offers 22,000Pa of suction power and updated tangle-free technology designed to prevent hair from wrapping around the brush. It also features improved edge cleaning to get closer to baseboards and corners.

The robot is powered by an updated AI assistant, YIKO 2.0, which helps with the initial setup and creates custom cleaning schedules based on how you use your home. With faster charging capabilities, the X12 can return to its dock for a quick boost and finish larger cleaning jobs with less downtime.
