Google has launched a new promo for Canadians that bundles its Gemini AI services with a huge discount on YouTube Premium.
Users who upgrade to the Google AI Pro plan are now eligible for 50% off a year of ad-free YouTube, which includes background play and offline downloads alongside advanced Gemini AI features.
For users in Canada, this deal reduces the monthly cost of a YouTube Premium individual plan to $6.49 CAD for the first 12 months, down from the standard price of $12.99.
After the promotional year ends, the service will renew at a bundled rate of $10.99 CAD per month. This offer is available until April 29, 2026, and is also being rolled out in the U.S., Brazil, Germany, France, and Japan.
Current Google One members who pay annually should be aware that accepting this deal will switch their account to a monthly billing cycle. Google has stated that any remaining balance on a current annual plan will be refunded to the user once they transition to the new bundle.
