Public Mobile Extends $35/80GB Promo Plan for One Extra Day

Telus-owned Public Mobile has updated its website on Monday to extend its $35 “limited time offer” for an extra day.

The $35/80GB Canada-wide plan was supposed to end on April 20 (some plans from Fido and Virgin Plus end today), but now the plan has a label that says it expires on April 21.

The plan offers 80GB of 5G speed data for use only in Canada. Other 5G plans with Canada-US-Mexico roaming at $40/100GB and $45/175GB do not have end dates, but still labels that say “limited time offer”.

Again, we’ll follow up on April 22 to see what entry plan Public Mobile will slap on its website. By delaying the offer one day, it gives Telus the final move to set pricing after Fido and Virgin Plus reveal their hands first.
