Amazon’s Blink has announced two new video doorbells designed to improve front door security with higher resolution and better visibility. The new models, the Blink Wired Doorbell 2K+ and the Blink Battery Doorbell 2K+, both feature 2K video quality and improved dynamic range to handle difficult lighting conditions.

The Wired Doorbell 2K+ is priced at $69.99 CAD. It is designed for homes that already have doorbell wiring, providing constant power without the need for battery swaps.

For those who want a wire-free setup, the Blink Battery Doorbell 2K+ is available for $94.99 CAD. This model includes a head-to-toe field of view, which makes it easier to see packages left on the ground or the full height of visitors.

Both devices integrate with the existing Blink app and Alexa for live video viewing and motion alerts. While the company is introducing AI-powered video descriptions that summarize motion events, that specific feature and its associated subscription plans are currently restricted to the U.S. market.

The new doorbells are available for pre-order now and are scheduled for release on May 20 in Canada.
