Starlink Just Dropped Its Canadian Price to $39 a Month — But Not for Long
SpaceX is making its most aggressive move yet to attract new residential customers in Canada by dropping the starting price of Starlink satellite internet to just $39 CAD per month. This new offer significantly undercuts previous promotions, lowering the entry-level cost for high-speed satellite internet during the initial months of service.
The latest pricing structure is designed for new customers and applies to their first three months of connectivity. This promotion follows a previous April offer that started at $49, showing that Starlink is willing to continue testing lower price points to expand its subscriber base across the country. For many Canadians in remote areas, these rates offer a significant saving compared to standard monthly pricing.
The new tiered pricing for the first three months is as follows, which includes $0 hardware upfront (in the past people had to pay $600):
- Residential 100: 100 Mbps for $39 per month
- Residential 200: 200 Mbps for $79 per month
- Residential Max: 400+ Mbps for $109 per month (you get a free Starlink Mini rental worth $399 CAD)
The offer is strictly for new customers and the discount applies to a single service line for the first three months only. It is important to note that if a customer changes their plan, cancels their service, or faces a suspension, they will immediately lose the promotional pricing and revert to standard rates.
As with previous offers, the availability of these specific rates and the duration of the promotion can vary by location. While Starlink provides these peak speed targets, the company clarifies that actual performance is based on global network averages and is not guaranteed
According to Starlink, this latest promo is only available until May 10, 2026. You can click here to sign up for Starlink and get 1 month free.
