Telus Just Brought Its Full TV and Streaming Bundle to Ontario
Telus has expanded its Optik TV service to Ontario, giving customers in the province access to the company’s full TV and streaming bundle for the first time.
Optik TV lets customers mix and match live TV channels, sports, and streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, Crave, Prime Video, and Apple TV into a single package. The lineup covers over 450 sports and live TV channels, and customers can swap things around every 30 days without being locked in. Telus says bundling everything together saves money compared to subscribing to each service separately.
“With more channels and streaming services out there than ever before, Canadians need choice and flexibility in how they purchase and enjoy entertainment,” said Kevin McLaughlin, Chief Marketing Officer at Telus, in a statement to iPhone in Canada on Wednesday. “Our customers want more content, fewer remote controls and lower bills, so we’re excited to expand Optik TV to Ontario and deliver an innovative entertainment experience designed around how people actually watch TV today.”
There’s one catch: you need Telus PureFibre Internet to sign up, as you can’t get Optik TV on its own. Telus also offers bundle options that add Mobility, SmartHome Security, and SmartEnergy to the mix for customers who want to go all in.
