The post has an accompanying sketch of what the new phone may offer as far as design. The full announcement of the Nothing Phone (4b) is taking place on July 7th at 6 AM ET/ 3 AM PT.

Earlier this week, CEO Akis Evangelidis took some time to explain the core difference between Nothing’s ‘a’ series and the ‘b’ series. “It’s simply a continuation of our naming system,” Evangelidis said in a post. “Numbers represent generations, while letters indicate different product segments.”
“The A Series remains our most premium line below our flagship products, which doesn’t carry a letter designation,” the CEO continues. Taking much of Evangelidis’ comments into consideration, the Nothing Phone (4b) could end up being a more cost-efficient version of the current Nothing Phone (4a).
The timing of this reveal arrives soon after Nothing cancelled the CMF Phone 3 Pro. As no surprise, the device was seemingly cancelled due to rising memory costs. “We can’t build a phone that feels like a genuine step forward at a price that makes sense for CMF,” Evangelidis said. If that’s the case, perhaps the Nothing Phone (4b) can take its place, offering more acceptable pricing for consumers.
We don’t currently have any insight into what the Nothing Phone (4b) will offer in terms of specs. With a full reveal around the corner, we’ll likely hear more and learn about the device’s global availability.
