PlayStation Plus Free Games Revealed for July: Here’s the Lineup

Sony revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for July 2026, giving subscribers just three new titles to claim starting Tuesday, July 7.

Headlining the update is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, followed by indie adventures For the King II and CrossCode.

While a massive franchise like Call of Duty usually anchors a heavy month, the overall three-game offering feels exceptionally light for July. Sony may be banking on the idea that players are spending more time outdoors enjoying the summer weather rather than sitting in front of their consoles. But for those paying for PS Plus, this feels like a bad month.

The headline title gives players access to the cross-gen bundle of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The package includes the full single-player campaign featuring Task Force 141, a multiplayer mode stacked with updated classic maps from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2, and an open-world PvE Zombies mode.

Subscribers will have until Monday, August 3 to add these games to their digital libraries.

Earlier today, Sony also announced it would be making digital-only games in 2028, killing off the physical disc, while also announcing major changes to the PS3 and PS Vita online store this year.
