Freedom Mobile Just Cut the Data on Its $35 Plan. Bigger Changes Land Tomorrow.
Freedom Mobile has made some changes today its its wireless plans offering, slashing data and also adding expiry labels.
The company’s $35 plan now has 10GB data, down from 25GB. As for the 75GB, 175GB and 250GB plan, they all now have a note to say they end today, July 8. This means a revamp of pricing and data will take place on Thursday.
Here are Freedom Mobile’s plans as of today, July 8 (all plans include global roaming) for bring your own device and after autopay discounts:
- $35/10GB (was 25GB) + 1GB Roam Beyond
- $40/75GB + 5GB Roam Beyond (ends July 8)
- $45/100GB + 5GB Roam Beyond
- $50/175GB + 10GB Roam Beyond (ends July 8)
- $60/250GB + 20GB Roam Beyond (ends July 8)
We may see prices jump up and data amounts decrease, only to see everything come back during the early back to school season in August.
