Google is teasing the rumoured Pixel Glow feature that’ll supposedly be prominent across the yet-to-be-announced Pixel 11 series. Ahead of the new Pixel 11 launch next month, Google is pulling the curtain back slightly.

On the Google Store page, the company is promoting the Pixel 11 series launch on August 12. Here, you can receive future updates and an offer when signing up for emails. However, underneath the main landing page, Google is seemingly promoting a teaser for its Pixel Glow features.

Google’s Pixel Glow feature, as TechRadar claims, is a circular light built into the same area as the flashlight, located to the right of the camera array. In a way, Pixel Glow is thought to draw inspiration from Nothing’s Glyph interface. However, we don’t know for certain what the extent of its use will be. It remains to be seen if it will light up in different colours or patterns. It may also be reactive to notifications or AI functions.

Google is due to reveal the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel Pro 11 Fold next month on August 12. The company announced its Made by Google event will take place in New York City. The keynote begins at 6 PM ET/3 PM PT.

Notably, the invitations going out to the press highlight the same gold model as shown on the Google Store. This indicates that one of the colour options for the Pixel 11 may be gold. According to reports from Android Authority, the Pixel 11 series will come with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM as standard. The Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro may both sport a 6.3-inch screen with up to 120Hz.

Pricing across the Pixel 11 series remains to be seen. With the ongoing RAM crisis, however, Google may change the pricing model for its new flagship devices.
