Xbox has announced the dates for its 25th anniversary FanFest tour this year. Following the FanFest celebration in June at the Xbox Games Showcase, the tour continues to Gamescom and other global stops, including Toronto.
Xbox FanFest is described by the company as an event “built around connection, local community, and the games we love.” The next stop for Xbox FanFest is set for later this month in Cologne, Germany. The company previously announced its plans for Gamescom, with hands-on gameplay opportunities.

At the Xbox Games Showcase, the company created a space where the community could play upcoming and recently launched titles. The community was also able to participate in photo opps and activations within the space.
Xbox FanFest also provided a deeply nostalgic look back at the company and its consoles. Xbox set up slice-of-life displays, representing the console generations. To reflect each one, Xbox designed “rooms” outfitted in the times, i.e., a rich 2000s room to reflect the original Xbox console.
There’s no word on how each FanFest celebration will offer attendees. Xbox confirms that tickets for each stop “will be awarded through city-specific sweepstakes.” More information will be provided down the road.
On top of announcing the Xbox FanFest stops, the company has announced a series of Xbox-inspired designs created for the console and the Xbox app on PC. Designed by community members Klobrille and Ben Kenobi, players can customize their profile, dynamic background and theme with 25th anniversary designs.
Additionally, all players who sign into their Xbox account on console, PC, or the mobile app will receive the Xbox Anniversary profile badge.
Finally, Xbox is creating a curated Game Pass collection that marks 25 years of the company. This curated list includes beloved titles like Fable Anniversary, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Fallout 4, and Psychonauts 2.
