Amazon has announced its next Prime Big Deal Days sale will take place in Canada on October 6 and 7.
The 48-hour shopping event starts at 12:01 a.m. PT on October 6 and will feature hundreds of thousands of deals across 35 product categories, according to Amazon.
As usual, the discounts will be limited to Amazon Prime members.
Amazon says deals will include products from brands such as Ninja, Dyson, Shark, Keurig, Nespresso, Philips Sonicare, Cuisinart, Breville, Reebok, Samsonite, Columbia and Stanley. Canadian brands will also be part of the sale, including Jamieson, Organika, Pelican and Design.Me.
“As Canadians settle into fall and start thinking about everything from home projects to holiday prep, Prime Big Deal Days is the perfect time to save on all of it,” said Eva Lorenz, vice president and country manager of Amazon Canada, in an emailed statement on Tuesday to iPhone in Canada.
Some promotions are already available ahead of the October sale.
Amazon says Prime members and new customers can get three months of Kindle Unlimited for free through Prime Big Deal Days. The company is also offering four months of Audible Standard for $0.99 per month.
Eligible Prime members who have not previously tried Amazon Music Unlimited can get four months free for a limited time.
Amazon is also promoting deals through Amazon Haul (its version of Temu essentially), with some seasonal products starting at $1.
Prime Big Deal Days will be available in 22 countries this year, including Canada, the United States, Japan, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
Amazon held its main Prime Day sale earlier this year, while Prime Big Deal Days serves as the company’s fall shopping event ahead of the holiday season.
