Tesla has raised prices on its home charging hardware in Canada again, with both the Wall Connector and Universal Wall Connector now costing noticeably more than they did just a few months ago.
The standard Tesla Wall Connector is now priced at $815 CAD, up from $760 CAD in July, according to Tesla North. That works out to a $55 increase in just over two months.
The bigger jump is on Tesla’s Universal Wall Connector, which now costs $945 CAD, up from $800 CAD in July. That is a $145 increase. Tesla’s Canadian home charger prices have moved substantially higher over the past few years.
Tesla North notes the regular Wall Connector fell as low as $465 CAD in December 2022, before climbing to $575 in early 2023 and $650 later that year. It was sitting around $630 CAD in early June 2026 before a series of increases pushed the price to $760 in July and now $815.
Compared with that December 2022 low, the Wall Connector is now roughly 75% more expensive.
The Universal Wall Connector originally launched in Canada for $785 CAD in August 2023. It later climbed to $860 before falling back to $800. The latest increase takes it to a new price of $945.
Unlike Tesla’s regular Wall Connector, the Universal model includes an integrated J1772 adapter, allowing it to charge Teslas as well as many other electric vehicles.
Tesla North also found that Best Buy Canada has already adjusted its pricing to match Tesla, although prices at other third-party retailers can sometimes lag behind changes made through Tesla’s own online store.
