You Can Now Download iOS 27.2 Beta 2 for iPhone and More

Apple has seeded new second betas of its latest software, including iOS 27.2 and more on Monday. Here’s what’s available to download for developers right now:

Xcode 27.2 beta landed on September 16, so there is no new tools drop arriving with this seed.

Equivalent public beta builds should follow later today or tomorrow, which is the usual rhythm after the developer builds hit first, and if you already have the public profile on, the update just shows up in Software Update once Apple flips it. You can grab the developer build on iPhone by going to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and choosing iOS 27 Developer Beta, then heading back to Software Update to download.

This is the second beta of iOS 27.2, arriving a week after Apple released the final iOS 27.0 to everyone. With the iPhone launches now done, this looks like the first real maintenance cycle for the new OS, so expect polish and bug fixes rather than big new features.
