Launch day has finally arrived for Apple’s newest desktops in Canada. The M6 Mac mini and the M5 Max and M5 Ultra Mac Studio are available today, with pre orders now arriving at doorsteps and in store pickup available at Apple Stores across the country.
Apple confirmed the launch with a newsroom update, calling the M6 Mac mini its most versatile Mac and the M5 Ultra Mac Studio its most powerful Mac ever. The Mac mini keeps its tiny footprint, while the Mac Studio supports up to 512GB of unified memory for demanding AI workloads.
Canadian pricing starts at $1,249 CAD for the M6 Mac mini and $2,399 CAD for the M5 Pro model, with education pricing from $1,109 CAD. Mac Studio starts at $3,499 CAD with the M5 Max and $7,799 CAD with the M5 Ultra.

The launch follows yesterday’s M6 Mac mini and M5 Ultra Mac Studio review roundup. The M6 is Apple’s first 2 nanometre Mac chip, and reviewers are already raving about its record single core speeds on launch day. It combines two M5 Max dies, making it ready for heavy AI and creative work. Apple explained how the M6 and M5 Ultra chips deliver those gains when it debuted the M6 Mac mini and unveiled Mac Studio in August 2026.
You can buy both machines today at Apple Stores, through the Apple Store app on your iPhone, or Apple’s website, with in store pickup and delivery live now. Apple says Authorized Resellers right across the country are getting stock today, too.
