The issue centers around a system error known in technical logs as a “panic-full” event. Affected smartphones suddenly freeze without warning, display a blank screen, and perform a hard restart. Once the device boots back up, a “panic-full” entry appears in the diagnostic logs stored under the device’s privacy settings.

Early user reports indicate that these crashes frequently trigger during everyday actions, particularly when authenticating with Face ID or unlocking the device. Frustration has spread quickly across online tech communities and Apple user forums.
