Canada Post for iOS Now Syncs Deliveries Across Apple Devices with iCloud

Canada Post has updated their iOS app today to now support syncing of your tracked packages across all Apple devices by using the latter’s iCloud service.

According to Canada Post explains, “a new feature syncs tracked items with iCloud for easy access on all your Apple devices.”

Once you open the app, a message reads, “iCloud will sync tracked items for easy access on all your Apple devices. You can turn off iCloud from your Settings.”

Every time you access your tracked packages and view details, once you go back to the main tracking screen, a green indicator bar appears and informs you “synced with iCloud just now.”

If you use the Canada Post app on multiple iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple Watch devices, tracking of parcels will now be synced with those signed into iCloud, meaning you won’t need to enter or delete tracking numbers on each individual device.

For businesses that rely on the Canada Post app to track packages, this may make life easier across Apple devices.

Canada Post says improvements were made to FlexDelivery to keep you signed in when you close the app, plus changes to make it easier to use the service.

Other changes now make it easier to locate a post office and get a rate quote and track an item, to go with unnamed bug fixes.
