Google has updated their iOS app to include quick search results as you type, plus trending searches.
As you start typing a search, you’ll get instant answers, even before a search is completed. For example, you can type something like “goog stock” or “how tall is the Eiffel Tower” (Google’s examples) and you will see results instantly.

Also, a new way to give feedback on suggestions is to just swipe left on search suggestions as you type, and tap the ‘info’ icon.
