Toronto: You Can Now Pay for Street Parking with Green P for iOS
Last week, the City of Toronto announced the Green P for iOS parking app would roll out support for street parking this month, and as promised the update has been released on schedule.
What’s New in Version 2.1.7
– On-Street Parking now available
– Use PayPal to fund your GreenP Account

Drivers will now be able to pay for street parking using the Green P app, funded by their credit card or PayPal. Previously, the app was limited to paying for parking at specific car parks.
The app shows a countdown timer of your parking session, plus includes notifications on when your time is about to expire, with options to extend parking right from the app.

It’s about time they allowed the app to be used with street parking. The udate to the street meters will take some time as not all of them have the location IDs yet.
Paypal may be included in a future version; I only saw credit card options as well.
