WhatsApp for iPhone Gains Quick Replies from Notifications [PICS]
Facebook-owned cross platform messaging app WhatsApp has been updated today to support quick replies for message and call notifications, for users running iOS 9.1.
What’s New in Version 2.12.10
• Quickly reply to messages right from notifications. Just drag down a notification to type your reply. (iOS 9.1+)
• You can also now reply to incoming WhatsApp calls with a message right from the call notification. (iOS 9+)
Below are screenshots of the new addition for messages—just pull down and send your reply:

For incoming calls, pulling down on the notification allows you to message a response or decline the call:

WhatsApp has received a flurry of updates recently, adding new features such as starred messages and also supporting 3D Touch for iPhone 6s users.
Update: Looks like WhatsApp quietly added support to reply from Apple Watch as well (thanks Kirk):

Gary, I don’t know if they neglected to mention it but there is Apple Watch support.. I’m able to reply to whatsapp notifications right on my watch… I just tried it
You’re right Kirk–just saw it. This is definitely new–or did this only come about after today’s update?
Nope, saw this from yesterday… But not sure which update triggered it
Been there since iOS 9.1 beta
Yet there’s no official Apple Watch app for it..(yet anyway)… Hmph… Would be nice to set custom auto replies… Since Facebook messenger you can. Probably soon.
