‘Ted Lasso’ Season 2 Premiere Now Available to Stream on Apple TV+

The second season of the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ series ‘Ted Lasso’ has premiered. The first episode is now available to watch on Apple’s streaming service.

‘Ted Lasso’ has been positively received for its wholesome story of an American football coach recruited to lead a failing London football team. Jason Sudeikis stars in the titular role of Ted Lasso. He is joined by Hannah Waddingham, Jeremy Swift, Nick Mohammed, and Brendan Hunt. Hunt also serves as the creator of the series and executive producer.

The first season landed on Apple TV+ in 2020 and built a notable following due to its heartwarming tone and comedic dialogue. The show has since won a Peabody Award for excellence in storytelling. Additionally, Sudeikis walked away with the ‘Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series’ award at the 2021 Screen Actors Guild Awards. ‘Ted Lasso’ has also been nominated for a staggering 20 Primetime Emmy Awards.

Season two picks up with the AFC Richmond team searching for success following the season one finale. The series promises to once again showcase the relationships between Ted Lasso and those around him. Critics have already been raving about the new season. It’s sitting at 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
