Bell Aliant has said they are investigating the issue:

Telus support has been responding “We’re currently investigating the issue. Thanks for looking out.”

Are you currently experiencing an outage with Bell and Telus in Atlantic Canada? Both companies share a wireless network so when one goes down, it’ll affect the other and vice versa.

Update: the outage is over as service was restored around noon PDT/3PM EDT

Thanks @ZippoS
