Bell Offering 5GB Data Bonus to Select Customers Who Call In

For Bell customers on the company’s $65/10GB BYOD plan (formerly the $60/10GB holiday plan from a couple years back), the loyalty department appears to be in the gift of giving right now.

According to some users on RFD, the Bell loyalty department can add an extra 5GB free data to your plan—just by asking for it.

“I was speaking to Bell loyalty department and was offered an additional 5GB free to the $65/10GB plan (that used to be $60) from last year,” explains user ‘freebies53’.

The user was switched over to a $65/15GB BYOD (bring your own device) loyalty plan that has the extra data ongoing. The switch “took only about 5-10 minutes” on the phone.

Other RFD users calling into Bell’s loyalty department were able to also get the added data and $65/15GB plan. How to get this extra data? Call into Bell’s customer service line and ask to speak to the loyalty or retentions department. Kindly ask for the data bonus for your $65/10GB plan and see what happens.

The move sounds similar to what Rogers was offering its customers last month, offering up 5GB of free data for 24 months to select customers.

Let us know if you were able to get the added data to your $65/10GB Bell plan. Could 5GB of extra data be the new added bonus for the holidays?
