If you’re looking to sign a two-year contract with Virgin Mobile, a couple new promotions have launched today, according to internal documents seen by iPhone in Canada.
$10 Off for 12 Months on New Activations
The first promo says new customers activating on select 2-year in-market plans can be eligible for a $10 off credit for 12 months ($120), in what Virgin tells employees is a “treat” to help them close potential sales.
This promo credit is not advertised anywhere and employees just need to enter a SOC code from the company’s internal bulletins to activate the credit.
This offer is available in all regions and is not applicable to tablet plans or rate plan migrations. It is stackable with other in-market offers, and the $10 bill credit will stay on the account for 12 months as long as members stay on the same plan. The credit may take 1-2 billing cycles to show up.
Second Line Offer: Bonus 2GB on New Activations
Another promo available from August 17-20, is a bonus 2GB data offer for those customers activating a second line on an in-market plan with data. This offer is not stackable with other second line offers, and is available in all regions.
This data bonus is not applicable on tablet, home phone or home internet plans, and also excludes rate plan migrations.
