Rogers Offers 2 Free Months of Wireless Service to COVID-19 Frontline Workers

If you’re a frontline healthcare worker and also a Rogers customer, the company is offering up two months of free wireless service, similar to what Telus and Koodo launched back in late April.

According to RFD, Rogers is offering up two months of wireless service credit for April and May, plus 10% off ongoing on your cellphone bill for frontline healthcare providers.

To get started, chat online with Rogers or give them a call. Customer representatives are able to verify your account, with little or no information depending on your situation.

For those with multiples lines under their account, the 10% off only applies to the main account holder.

Some of the following healthcare providers are included below:

  • University Health Network
  • Unity Health Toronto (St. Michael’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Queensway and Providence Health)
  • Sinai Health Systems
  • Trillium Health Partners
  • Toronto East Health Network (North York General Hospital and Michael Garron Hospital)
  • The Ottawa Hospital

Other healthcare workers on RFD noted their employee purchase plans (EPP) were updated, with one able to get a $60/20GB plan, in line with current EPP pricing.

We’ve reached out to Rogers for more details, but in the meantime, if you or someone you know is a frontline healthcare worker during COVID-19, tell them to contact Rogers to save on their wireless bill.
