Rogers Pro On-the-Go Expands to Southwestern Ontario

Last fall Rogers Pro On-the-Go launched in the Greater Toronto Area, its complimentary mobile service which helps customers setup new smartphones at the location of their choosing.

After expanding to Vancouver last month, Rogers Pro On-the-Go has now reached Southwestern Ontario, now available in Hamilton, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Brantford and Cambridge.

The service is through a partnership with Enjoy and helps setup customer devices through a new contactless delivery method devised last month. Rogers says a phone purchased can see “delivery within hours”, with customers able to set the time and date for delivery.

Rogers Pro will help customers set up a device and go over features, as required, and due to COVID-19 it now takes place over a phone call or video chat.

“In these uncertain times, Canadians rely on their smartphones to stay connected to the outside world and the people that matter most,” said Brent Johnston, President, Wireless, Rogers Communications, in a statement. “It is more important than ever that we bring our customers the wireless devices and services they need in a way that’s safe, convenient and personalized for them.”

Rogers Pro now reaches “approximately 10 million Canadians,” with more markets coming this year, with Rogers is the exclusive partner with Enjoy, with the latter started by Apple’s former retail store chief, Ron Johnson.

“We are so excited to expand our partnership with Rogers to more Canadians, and to now bring this proven formula to customers in Southwestern Ontario,” said Ron Johnson, CEO of Enjoy.
