Koodo never officially supported the iPhone 4, but we first posted about users getting carrier updates for Personal Hotspot. Today, that has all changed as Koodo Mobile now offers the iPhone 4, which will be available at all Koodo Shops on July 15, 2011.
Here are a couple plans users can get with the iPhone 4:
1. Koodo Tab: no fixed-term contract; Get an iPhone 4 for $500 after putting $150 on your Tab
2. Three year contract plans:
iPhone $65: 250 daytime minutes, 500 MB data, unlimited text, 7pm evenings/weekends, per second billing, voicemail
iPhone $80:Â 500 daytime minutes, 1 GB data, unlimited text, 7pm evenings/weekends, per second billing, voicemail

No contracts are nice, but it’s kinda weird that I have a much cheaper plan through Telus itself. I’m paying $50/month for 1GB of data, 450 min, unlimited texts, and free calling after 6pm.

lol that’s the worst plan I’ve seen yet. Fido and Virgin would be better choices for cost than this. Or simply buying outrightÂ
similar with Fido, have 600min between wife and me and 6 gigs for about 50 bucks, and unlimited texts and evenings and weekends. and with fido you get per second billing. Really disappointed with the newer carriers, why have them around they don’t even compete.
