TELUS iPhone 6s Pre-Register Page Debuts, Bell Touts Sept. 12 Orders

TELUS has updated their website to feature a new iPhone 6s pre-register page, allowing potential customers to submit their emails to be notified first when the phones will be available for pre-order.

Bell also added their own iPhone 6s landing page, to note orders would start on September 12, the same day pre-orders begin online for unlocked purchases from Apple (set for another 12:01AM PDT start).

As of writing, Rogers does not have an iPhone 6s landing page yet, but expect it to come soon.

Apple’s press release today already stated Rogers, TELUS and Bell would be selling the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus on contract on launch day, along with MTS and SaskTel.

While no contract pricing has been released, our lower Canadian dollar surely will affect two-year contract pricing, so expect it to be slightly higher this time around compared to last year’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which started at $265 and $375 respectively, from the Big 3.

I suppose Apple will have the same kind of reservation system it had last year on their website for in store pick up (selecting model, Apple Store, etc.), right?

Hope so. Got the URL ready from last year just in case it’s the same. 😀

I’ve never done this before, and have normally shunned people who do, but times are a little tough; anyone have any thoughts on supply vs demand this launch. Might be nice to hold a few models for ransom on ebay if you can get them early. 😛

It’s an S model, times have shown usually they aren’t in demand quite as much as a new form factor, but who knows. Still, don’t scalp. Let people have a chance at getting one themselves eh

I was being facetious. No plans to scalp.

I’m with Koodo – to get the phone quicker, am I better off ordering though Apple or waiting for Koodo’s page?

Can’t wait to see the canadian prices on contract. I guess it’ll be something like 349$ for 16go, 449$ for 64go. Can’t believe the prices of smartphones have gone this way up, that’s with a 70$/month plan at least. $$
