Telus-owned prepaid brand, Public Mobile, has launched the sale of certified pre-owned smartphones on its website, which includes Apple’s 2015 iPhone 6s (it still supports iOS 14).
Here’s what’s available:
Apple iPhone 6s 32GB – $180
Google Pixel 2 – $300
Google Pixel 2 XL – $350
Samsung Galaxy S8 – $350
Samsung Galaxy S10 – $735
All phones are backed by a one year warranty and include a free SIM card. The company says only a handful of Galaxy S10 units are available as part of a launch special.
“This launch is a direct result of the feedback you all have shared with us over time around how we can make the Public Mobile experience better,” said the company.
Public Mobile says this is a pilot project to test and will be optimized over the coming months.
