Public Mobile’s ongoing 2GB data bonus promo has slightly improved this week, as the company announced on Friday it is offering the extra data for 12 months, for plans $25 and higher.
Previously, the 2GB data bonus promo was only available for plans $35 and higher—for 6 months only. There was also a time when the 2GB data bonus would never expire as long as customers remained on the same plan.
“Starting to March 11 at 11:59PM EST, new customers can get 2GB of bonus data every month, for free for 12 months on $25 plans or higher with promo code: 12MONTH2GB,” explained Public Mobile on Friday.
The offer is available online and also at participating retail locations. Previously, the 2GB data bonus was only available online.
Public Mobile says, “to redeem this offer online, order a SIM card between March 11 and March 14 at 11:59 PM ET, and then activate online by March 25, 2022 at 11:59PM ET.” Currently, SIM cards are on sale for 50% off.
As of writing, Chatr (Rogers) and Lucky Mobile (Bell) have yet to match this offer from Telus-owned Public Mobile.
