Telus Confirms $45 Connection Fee Increase Coming, Joining Koodo
Telus will be increasing its connection fee to $45 this week, beginning on November 6, joining its sub-brand, Koodo Mobile.
Hi there! We don't have this information for the moment here at social media and also on our website https://t.co/Y6fC78ritd so that is not an official announcement. Thank you! ^AA

There was some doubt about the Koodo price increase, but a Telus spokesperson clarified by confirming the upcoming change to iPhone in Canada, stating in an email, “After careful review and consideration, on November 6 we will be adjusting the connection fee from $40 to $45, which includes the support our TELUS team members provide when processing your activation or renewal.”
The price change means Rogers, Fido, Telus, Koodo, Bell and Virgin will now all be charging $45 connection fees. Shaw’s Freedom Mobile recently increased its connection fee this month to $30.
These connection fee increases come ahead of Apple’s iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max pre-orders this week.
The Telus spokesperson continued, “of note, most customers can avoid this fee if they choose to activate or renew online.”
