Telus announced on Tuesday the launch of Stream+, a new bundle that includes Netflix Premium, Apple TV+ and discovery+ for the price of $25 per month.
Stream+ is available for new and existing mobility customers to add to their monthly bill. Telus says the bundle saves customers money, as the three standalone services cost $31.97month (Netflix Premium at $20.99; Apple TV+ at $5.99; discovery+ at $4.99), whereas Stream+ is at $25, resulting in just under $7 in savings.
“Over the last two years, Canadians coast-to-coast have been streaming more than ever and are increasingly looking to simplify their streaming subscriptions while enjoying premium entertainment for less,” said Jim Senko, President of TELUS Mobility Solutions, in a statement to iPhone in Canada.
Telus says it’s possible to link existing accounts to these three services once you add Stream+ to your mobility account. For those with Netflix as part of their Optik TV package, they’ll need to pick another option such as Crave, to avoid being double-billed for the service.
Stream+ can be added to your Telus mobility account via the web and My Telus app. Cancellation of the streaming bundle is possible at any time but happens immediately.
