PSA: Subscribe Now to Disney+ in Canada Before Tomorrow’s Price Increase

On Tuesday, February 23, 2021, Disney+ will launch Star in Canada, adding new content, while along with the addition will be a price increase to monthly and annual plans.

Here’s the current Disney+ pricing in Canada as of today: 

• $8.99 CAD per month
• $89.99 CAD per year ($7.50/mo)

Here’s what Disney+ will cost on Tuesday, February 23, 2021:

• $11.99 CAD per month ($3 increase)
• $119.99 CAD per year ($30 increase; $9.99/mo)

Your best bet is to subscribe to the annual plan at $89.99 CAD per year today, before the price increase tomorrow. Those with discounted iTunes cards funding their Apple ID will save a bit more. Currently, there’s a sale right now on Costco.ca.

Here’s a list of all the Star content coming to Canada tomorrow. There are some great titles coming, but it does come with a price increase.
