With Sonos unveiling its second-generation Beam soundbar earlier this year, its first-generation ‘Shadow Edition’ at Costco has hit clearance pricing of $349.97 (any item ending in .97 at Costco means clearance and won’t be restocked).
The Sonos Beam ‘Shadow Edition’, an exclusive colorway for Costco, was spotted on clearance in Edmonton by RFD user ‘DealNoobBrad’. The $349 price was also available back in December 2019, but now we’re seeing it on clearance.
In our review of the Sonos Beam 1 versus Sonos Beam 2, we didn’t notice a huge difference by any means. The original Beam is still a high-quality soundbar and speaker, but lacks Dolby Atmos support seen in the latest second-generation.
Your best bet is to call your local Costco and ask if item number 1271989 is in stock or not, as local warehouses are crazy busy this time of the year. Costco.ca still stills this Sonos Beam for $489.99 right now. Happy deal hunting.
